Aguilar & Pineda is the result of the union of two business families with a long tradition in the representation of industrial machinery; Luciano Aguilar S.A. and Eduardo de Pineda and CIA., with more than 140 years and 65 years of seniority respectively. This union gathers the experience and reliability of both companies demonstrating more than ever the saying of "unity makes strength".

Aguilar & Pineda is owned by Blas Aguilar S.L., head of the Aguilar family, and Eduardo de Pineda and CIA., The original company of the De Pineda family. In Blas Aguilar S.L. the general services of corporate management, administration and IT are located. Blas Aguilar S.L. is also the owner of Luciano Aguilar S.A., originally dedicated just to the textile sector, and which is currently dedicated specifically to the commercialization of packaging machinery and general packaging as well as the process and inspection in the food industry.

Luciano Aguilar
1876
Blas Aguilar Amat founded Blas Aguilar company dedicated to domestic and foreign textile accessories sale for spinning and finishing sectors and works together with his son Luciano who joined in 1901.
1923
The company changes its name to Luciano Aguilar as the successor of Blas Aguilar and moves to the current location in the street Mallorca 279.
1925
Emilio Aguilar Barbany, son of Luciano, joins the company.
1927
Carlos Aguilar Barbany, son of Luciano, joins the company.
Eduardo de Pineda
1952
Eduardo De Pineda Oñate founded the company Eduardo De Pineda y Compañía, S.L., dedicated to the import and export of all kinds of goods.
1929
Transfer of the office to its current location in Calle Mallorca 279.
1959
With the National Stabilization Plan, it begins with the representation of textile machinery companies. The group of companies that formed Unionmatex are the first represented that are achieved. Among them, it was W. Schlafhorst, which is still represented.
1939
Due to the autarky period, local manufactures are represented.
1961
It begins with the representation of Barmag, which still continues today.

Enrique de Pineda Churruca joins the company. That same year it begans to represent the Belgian company Picañol.

With the re-opening of the Spanish market abroad, the representation of foreign equipment manufacturers and the divisions of packaging and food are set up.

The company is established as a limited company under the name of Luciano Aguilar S.A.

The headquarters are moved to Álava Street to expand the warehouse.

The 100 years anniversary of the company is celebrated in Sitges. The division dedicated to the export of Spanish textile machinery is set up.

Eduardo De Pineda Estevan joins the company.

The division of textile software and colorimetry is set up and Cristina Aguilar Batista joins the company.

Iñigo De Pineda Blanc joins the company.
1986
The company receives the centenary company diploma awarded by the Generalitat de Catalunya.
2004
Ana Sofia De Pineda Estevan joins the company.
1998
Creation of the Blas Aguilar holding, and the Family Counsil from which the family protocol is created.
2006
The headquarter is moved to Viladecans to expand warehouse and mechanical-electronic workshop.
2007
The company Aguilar & Pineda Asociados S.L. is created with the merger of the textile and chemical divisions of Luciano Aguilar S.A. and the company Eduardo de Pineda y Cía. The firm Luciano Aguilar S.A. centers its activity around the sectors of food, packaging and graphic arts.
2009
Expansion of the chemical department, the textile department focuses on technical textile.
